Funny you mentioned that, I just received the following E-mail:
“The OAG Training and Development Bureau invites you to the FDLE Capitol Police presentation on Identity Theft. Look forward to other safety topics of interest to follow. Please direct any questions to the Training Bureau.”
Maybe I should go and get back to you? Hehe.
In all seriousness, you are on the right track. I would also inform the DMV, & your Credit Card Companies.
You should be ok usually with a DL missing because it is a photo ID, but now a days don’t take any chances.

It’s Wednesday, why are you waiting until Friday to go to the DMV. If you are driving without a license you could find yourself in a lot of trouble. Get down there, today and figure out what you need to do for a replacement. They can issue you an interim card so your butt is covered in case of problem. I suggest, not waiting until later to take any sort of action, might as well have to withdraw the report if you find it then be hurting if it was stolen.
